Delphian Students have been helping the Sheridan Head Start for the last three years.
Head Start is a program started in 1965 to help underprivileged students and families through education. The Sheridan center is currently working with about fifty students and the extra help from Delphian is greatly appreciated.
In the past Delphian students have helped students with their homework at the center. This year Delphian students have been accompanying teachers on home visits to help translate from English to Spanish. Kenji Sanchis has been working on this project accompanying teacher, Cassie, to Spanish speaking homes to help translate to the families and students.
