Commencement 2004

Pavaune Pearson

Pavaune Pearson "Delphi has a funny way of working. It teaches you how to become yourself by helping you be the individual you really know you are. Through the courses and the literature that I studied at Delphi, I came out of the program being the individual I never thought I could be. I am now capable of doing anything that I set out to do, and I can go out in the world and show it all I've got. I know that I'm ready. Now it's up to the world to make sure it's ready for me!"

—Pavaune Pearson

Lauren Haggis

Lauren Haggis "When I first started The Delphi Program, I was eleven years old, and illiterate. I couldn't read or write my own name. I didn't know what it was like to study or what it meant to have goals. I didn't know that I was an artist or even a capable person.

"Everything turned around after I came to Delphi. I learned what it was to have goals and to achieve them. I learned what it was to be challenged. I learned about ethics and leadership, and found these qualities in myself. I learned that I love challenges along with knowledge. I learned that I am a truly capable and artistic person, who can communicate to others through many different art forms.

"Because of Delphi, I have the confidence in myself to take on new things, and I believe that I can accomplish everything and anything I set for myself."

—Lauren Haggis

Simon Siegel

Simon Siegel "My Delphi education has given me a foundation in each of the four points of the Delphi logo—Knowledge, Ethics, Integrity and Leadership—that will provide the foundation for my future.

"From this point forward, from college to law school and beyond, I can learn for myself and sustain a joy of learning. I can continue to increase and improve all of my skills and abilities, while reaching even higher levels of ethics and integrity.

"Delphi has given me the tools to take charge of my own life and to live it ethically and responsibly. I couldn't have asked for anything more."

—Simon Siegel
