Commencement 2005

"It is true that Delphi helped me gain a tremendous amount of knowledge academically.
"It is true that Delphi pushed me to improve my integrity, responsibility and leadership
skills.
"It is true that I formed everlasting friendships at Delphi.
"But above and beyond this, Delphi gave me one of the greatest tools of allthe
ability to go out into life and continue to learn. It is perhaps the most valuable
of all the tools, because with this ability, I know that I can accomplish whatever
I want with my life!"

"The Delphi Program is so much more than just high school. I have learned the value
of integrity, knowledge, responsibility, leadershipall these words that were
so esoteric and unusable before. The program has provided such a beautiful foundation
of knowledge that I now feel I can pick up any subject or activity and succeed in
it.
"From this program, I have really found my feet. I used to be a sheep, a follower.
I supported ideas and groups because others did, and I never had the confront to
find things out for myself. Delphi has helped peel back my veil of non-confront.
I have become the type of person that is a true individualnot an independent,
separated hermit, but an individual. It is individuals that make up society and
make changes in it. For the ability to act as an individual, I am forever grateful
to this program."

"When I first arrived at Delphi, I was afraid of many things. I was uncertain in
my abilities, and I didn't take initiative in life. Through the Delphi Program,
I was able to eliminate my fears and take on life. This is not to say that I no
longer fear anything, but I am now willing to summon the courage to confront and
handle situations.
"What is most important is that I am able to apply what I've learned. This is the
simplest and most important lesson that I have experienced at Delphi. And I will
use it for the rest of my life."
