Commencement 2006

Graduated with Honors
"Delphi was the forge where I hammered myself into existence. It was the chisel
that I used to sculpt myself. It was the piano that I learned to play, the music
that taught me to listen. It is the brush, at the ready, so I may paint the canvas
of my life."

"Every person is capable of becoming something great. Every person has the abilities
to learn and to have fantastic realizations. But what some people lack is the environment
in which to do so. Well, Delphi is an ideal environment. The staff encourages us
not to run away from our problems. Instead, we are gradually helped to confront
them and, eventually, we are helped to handle them. But there is yet another step:
before a student can graduate he must have the ability to confront and handle his
problems and weaknesses by himself. And even better, Delphi enables one to recognize
and to hone so many strengths that even this step is relatively easy."

"Coming here has given me a good academic foundation, but it has also given me a
good foundation for life. I came here without the living skills that every person
should have. I had a hard time with my personal integrity, I didn't particularly
care about education and I hadn't confronted anything about the rest of my life.
"The Delphi Program™ helped me handle that. I certainly have a higher regard
for education. I also have the power to maintain my own integrity and make the decisions
I know are right. That's a little bit of a new thing in my world.
"Considering what I have gained here, I wouldn't trade this experience for any amount
of money. The academics have been amazing, but the ethics, integrity and leadership
skills I gained here are what have really made the experience different from anything
I could have done somewhere else."
