Commencement 2007
Carey Devlin-Drye
"I have always thought I could be an able and intelligent person. Delphi helped
me truly understand this and be able to harness the ability that was there. Now
I can apply myself to anything.
"There are a lot of things I want to do in my life, and Delphi has given me the
basic tools to do those things. I now know that I can go out and accomplish anything
that I want to."

"It is very rare for high school students to receive the level of education offered
at Delphi. It's not that Delphi gives students more knowledge about science or history
or math than other high schools. The most important part of the program is that
Delphi teaches students how to incorporate all the subject data and skills at their
disposal and use these to accomplish their goals.
"I know Delphi has given me the greatest education possible because there is nothing
that can stop me from achieving my goals. I have all the tools I need to continue
learning, and to succeed at whatever I do. In short, Delphi has given me the perfect
education."

"Delphi opened my eyes to life. I didn't have very big goals before I came here,
I didn't really know how to go about living life and I didn't understand what I
could do with my life. I was immersed in baseball and didn't really have any dreams
or goals beyond becoming a good baseball player. The Delphi Program introduced me
to new ideas and theories, which I used to formulate my own ideas and theories.
I have much bigger goals now. I have also realized that there are problems with
the world that need big solutions and that people with big ideas and powerful leaders
are needed to create solutions to those problems.
"I've realized that I am one of those people with big ideas, and now all I have
to do is go out and start making the world a better place. But I never would have
realized this if it weren't for what I learned at Delphi."

"Form 8 was a life-changing experience that I will never forget. It taught me my
academics like no other program could, but it also taught me leadership, integrity,
ethics—things that not many people understand. Now, not only do I understand them,
I can use them to make my life my own.
"I know how a business works so that I can make my future business a success. I
can lead people and help them. I can teach and I can understand what is going on
in the world. I can live my life to the fullest.
"Thank you, Delphi, for giving me the tools I can use to make my life my own."
—Colleen Culpepper
