Accreditation & Affiliation


Delphian School is a member of the Oregon Federation of Independent Schools, an Accredited Member of the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools (PNAIS), and an accredited member school of the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC).
Delphian School is an independent nonprofit organization and does not receive funds from government, religious or other groups. Funds for operations and capital improvements are raised through tuition, fees and charitable contributions.
About PNAIS
The Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools is a voluntary membership organization that promotes high educational quality for its schools through the establishment and advancement of comprehensive accreditation standards.
It administers the accreditation process for independent elementary and secondary schools in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Through this accreditation process, the Association assists schools with the process of school improvement.

About NWAC (Northwest Accreditation Commission)
The Northwest Accreditation Commission's mission is to advance excellence in education through the process of accreditation. Accredited implies that the school subscribes to a process of voluntary self-regulation that is a constructive school improvement experience designed to improve the quality of the school and improve student achievement. The Northwest Accreditation Commission accredits distance education, elementary, foreign nation, high, K 12, middle level, post secondary non-degree granting, residential, special purpose, supplementary education, and travel education schools. The geographic territory of NWAC consists of the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. The Northwest Accreditation Commission is one of the nation's six acknowledged regional accreditation agencies and a division of AdvancED. AdvancED is the global leader in advancing education quality through accreditation through a world-wide network, that includes operation of three regional accrediting agencies, and accrediting 30,000 institutions in over 70 countries serving over 16 million students.
