Close has little to do with geography.

Choosing boarding school is a life-changing decision, not only for your child, but for the entire family. That’s why parents are an integral part of the Delphian community, whether they live nearby or halfway around the world. We believe that education is a joint effort between the school and the family.

Communication is the key to our successful collaboration. It comes in the form of regular school-wide newsletters and email updates, plus calls, Skype or emails between you and faculty. If your son did exceptional work on a project, you’ll hear about it. If your daughter’s having a tough day, you’ll know. We often hear from parents that they’re closer to their children now than they were when they lived under the same roof.

Parents are always welcome on campus. We encourage all of our parents to be involved in campus life however they’re able, whether it’s through volunteering, attending performances and games, or sponsoring students in the dance-a-thon. And of course, there’s Parents’ Weekend in June, especially for you.
