Our Non-Discrimination Practice
Delphian School (the "School") is committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all student applicants. The School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, physical or mental disability or age or any other classification protected under applicable law to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, physical or mental disability or age or any other classification protected under applicable law, in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other School-administered programs.
The Delphian School is committed to providing programs and activities, including but not limited to admission, educational and employment programs and activities, free from prohibited discrimination on the basis of sex. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, including the amendments thereto, also prohibits unlawful discrimination on the basis of sex in federally funded education programs and activities, and the Delphian School is required by Title IX and its implementing regulations not to discriminate in such a manner. Inquiries concerning the application of Title IX and its implementing regulations to Delphian may be referred to Delphian’s Title IX Coordinator.
Delphian has established grievance procedures for the prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging noncompliance with Title IX or actions that would be prohibited by Title IX. The procedures apply to complaints against employees, other students or third parties, including complaints filed by students or employees, or on their behalf, alleging sexual violence.
The Head of Administration is Delphian’s appointed Title IX Coordinator who will oversee Delphian’s efforts to coordinate and comply with the responsibilities under Title IX. If an employee, student, or other Delphian-affiliated source has a grievance to report, it should be directed to the Head of Administration. They will promptly and effectively investigate and address the matter in alignment with Title IX and the school’s policies.
