Planned Giving

Donors who share Delphian’s mission and goals can help secure the school’s future by including the school in their long-term financial planning, living trust or will.  The Apollo Legacy Society was set up to honor these donors.

Since its founding, the school has had a relationship with the Greeks and Delphi -- Delphi being a source of knowledge in the ancient world, situated on a hill with a commanding view.  Apollo is the Greek god associated with Delphi and standing for such things as knowledge, truth, art, poetry and music.

Planned gifts are generally made from assets rather than income. These legacy gifts come in many forms, including direct bequests from estate planning or gifts of assets such as stocks, charitable gift annuities, life insurance policies or real property.

This giving category is called “Planned Giving” because with thoughtful planning -- together with their financial advisor and/or lawyer -- donors can benefit, along with Delphian.
