Campus Master Plan

Campus Master Plan

The school's historic main building crowns a hill overlooking miles of picturesque Willamette Valley. Its 700 acres of woodsy campus features a state-of-the-art gym and running track, playing fields for baseball and soccer, tennis courts, student and staff housing, and a new, rapidly developing area for camping and outdoor events of all kinds.

To provide further enrichment opportunities for students in the Delphi program, and to help realize the Delphian founders’ vision of an educational showcase, the Campus Master Plan was redone in 2016.

Fulfillment of the master plan, along with maintenance and landscaping of the existing property, requires considerable resources. That’s where your help is crucial.

To discuss donations to the Campus Master Plan please email or call the Director of Development, Marti Wiggins, at 503-843-5812.

Founders Endowment

Founders Endowment

Sometimes a school’s annual fund is compared to a checking account that helps provide immediate support to school projects. Endowments, on the other hand, are the savings and investment accounts that help sustain a school for generations. The Founders Endowment Fund helps to forward the vision of the Founding Staff.

Endowed funds are invested under guidance from the Delphian Board of Directors. Earnings on these investments provide a stable, ongoing source of funds to the school while the capital remains intact. Many private schools have tens or hundreds of millions of dollars in their endowments, sometimes more, to ensure they will be here for future generations of students.

For more information on this important fund, contact the Development Office at 503-843-5812.

Scholarships

Scholarships

Donating to Delphian's Scholarship Fund is a vital way of helping the school maintain a diverse and intellectually eager student body. You directly change a life every time you help put a scholarship there. Thanks to the many alumni and families who have donated to this fund, students who otherwise could not have afforded to attend Delphian are graduating in ever greater numbers.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Planned Giving supports Delphian School's mission and goals by including the school in your long-term financial planning, living trust or will.

Planned gifts are generally made from assets rather than income. These legacy gifts come in many forms, including direct bequests from estate planning or gifts of assets such as stocks, charitable gift annuities, life insurance policies or real property.

This giving category is called “Planned Giving” because with thoughtful planning with your financial advisor and/or lawyer, you and your loved ones can benefit, along with Delphian.

Matching Gifts

If your employer is one of the many companies who will match your gift to Delphian, your gift may be able to be doubled or even tripled. Check with your Human Resources Department to see if your employer offers this kind of donation benefit.

Securities

For gifts of stocks, bonds or mutual funds, please contact Marti Wiggins at martiw@delphian.org or 503-843-5812.

For other types of gifts such as property, life insurance, bequests or charitable trusts, please contact Rosemary Didear at rdidear@delphian.org or 503-843-6956.
