College Advisement Program
The college and university application process is a major undertaking for students and their families, and it can be daunting. Our career advising program helps students and their families understand this process, and it provides them with the guidance and assistance they need along the way.
At Delphian, career and college advising begins early in our high school program. Students are guided in identifying for themselves their future aspirations. They then work closely with their academic supervisor and with the career and college advisor to align their academic and practical programs to their higher education goals, all the while remaining in the driver's seat of their own education and career choices.
Through detailed learning guides and faculty assistance, students study and research the steps needed to prepare for their future, whether they intend to pursue college or move directly from graduation into the career of their choice. The career and college advisor assists students in creating a strong college list, preparing for and scheduling standardized testing, and presenting themselves confidently and professionally in their college applications.
