Delphian is our school and it is up to us to create the environment we want to take part in. With this in mind, I would like to share with you the goals that I want our group to achieve this year:
I am looking for a year of expansion from each individual which means that each student is making and achieving their goals, is taking on bigger and more challenging projects, and doing the impossible. I would like you all to start developing the mentality that you can always do more than what you think is possible; essentially, growing on all four parts of the logo.
I envision the student body having an overall family-like bond as the friendships you create can last a lifetime. It's important to form close relationships with other students; you should lend them a hand, build connections and treat each other as if you were family.
Every one of you will succeed in many ways. Here are four things to help you reach your goals. The first is hard work; get yourself excited about the tasks you do. The second is being willing to make mistakes and learn. The third is always pushing yourself to do more even if you're afraid—when you fear taking on something, that's your hint to do it. And fourth put care and love into everything you do.
Let's all work towards making this year the best one yet. I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together.
