The advanced mathematics class is designed for Upper School students who have completed Algebra I and wish to explore advanced topics such as fractals, cryptography, and game theory. Led by experienced instructors, students develop technical problem-solving skills through creative, interactive challenges that help them learn to think like mathematicians.
 

Archery offers students of all skill levels a fun and challenging opportunity to develop self-discipline, patience, and persistence. While enjoying Delphian’s beautiful outdoor campus, students learn fundamental techniques and master the art of the bow.

The Delphian art room is a vibrant, engaging space for artists of all skill levels to explore and create in. Students receive guided instruction in the fundamentals of drawing, have access to professional-grade materials for self-directed projects, all to encourage the development of artistic and technical skills. 

The summer athletics program provides students the opportunity to train with some of Delphian’s junior and senior-level varsity athletes in sports such as volleyball, soccer, tennis, pickleball, and basketball. Students build technical skills, improve physical fitness, and develop teamwork, giving them a competitive advantage for their upcoming sports seasons.

This hands-on class equips Upper School students with practical automotive skills and knowledge. It covers basic vehicle maintenance, problem-solving, and roadside readiness to help students become confident vehicle owners who can keep their cars on the road and out of the shop. 
 

The ceramics studio provides a relaxed environment for students of all skill levels to learn, experiment, and master techniques in clay sculpting and pottery, with access to materials, pottery wheels, glazes, skilled instruction, and an on-site kiln for firing finished pieces.

This class introduces Upper School students to the world of cooking by teaching them meal planning, kitchen safety, ingredient selection, and the art and science of flavor combinations. Through hands-on projects and individualized instruction, students will build confidence in their culinary skills and create delicious dishes.

The digital art class invites students of all skill levels to explore the unlimited world of technology-based art.  It combines technical skill-building with hands-on projects, giving students the opportunity to develop their skills and deepen their understanding of design principles to create digital art such as digital illustration, photography, photo editing, animation, and more.

The gardening class offers students hands-on experience in environmental stewardship. Delphian’s campus serves as a living lab, and students gain a practical understanding of horticulture and soil science while helping to support and maintain the local ecosystem.

Horse camp offers a one-week intensive experience for students of all skill levels to learn the fundamentals of equestrian science, engage in hands-on care, and participate in arena and trail riding activities on Delphian’s beautiful 720-acre campus.

The summer music program offers individualized instruction for students of all skill levels. Students build their musical abilities through personalized lessons and technical skill-building, and have the opportunity to audition and perform in the summer showcase.

Outdoor engineering is a hands-on, project-oriented camp that offers students ages 11 and older, of all skill levels, the chance to learn the basics of engineering from knowledgeable instructors. Students are challenged to put their creative problem-solving and technical skills to the test, turning raw materials and supplies into large-scale functional projects.

Stop motion animation provides students with the opportunity to bring their imaginations to life. They learn the fundamentals of storytelling, set design, character creation, editing, and short animation production, and build confidence in taking a multifaceted project from start to finish.

The theater arts class invites Elementary and Middle School students to explore the exciting world of theater, where they can learn the basics of acting and performing on stage. Working as a team, students create characters, rehearse scenes, and prepare a performance for the summer talent showcase.

Woodshop is a hands-on, project-oriented class that offers students of all skill levels the chance to learn the basics of woodworking from knowledgeable instructors. Challenged to put their problem-solving and technical skills to the test, students turn raw lumber into unique projects of their choosing.
